This cooling vest provides much-needed relief during my outdoor activities in the Texas summertime.
My 8yo daughter plays soccer in the Florida heat at least 3 days a week often for 1.5hrs at a time. The season starts in August and can be unbearable with the brutal heat/humidity. I tried every cooling headband on the market and nothing actually worked as claimed, until I found the Oro kids headband! It’s AMAZING! You freeze the ice pack and it fits perfectly into a little pocket at the base of the neck to keep her cool during practice. We love it sooo much that we even got more ice packs to swap out for longer practices. In addition, the owner of the company is fabulous. Beyond helpful and just a good person. She really wants her product to make a difference and it does! Top-notch Customer Service! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Recently purchased the Ultimo Cooling Vest and paid for expedited shipping via USPS, which promptly ceased to track my package on drop-off. Emailed Oro Sports and the CEO replied that she would overnight a vest via UPS and drop it off herself, which she did along with an incredibly nice note! Absolutely fantastic product, well made in the US, but even better customer service. If you're on the fence about the price, the utility of the product or Oro Sports in general - hop down and grab a vest already!

Had you not taken the time to let me know that your overnight package wasn't tracking, I wouldn't have been able to double down at this end n time for your daughter's competition. The Maximo Gen 2 vest itself is all one could ask for. Extremely well made, and, according to my wife, works as advertised in the summer heat of Maryland.
Shipping was fast.
But what sets Oro Sports apart is the customer service. My wife ran into trouble with the sometimes finicky cooling pack. An email to the owners got that resolved. Not the next day or on Monday, but late in the evening of a Friday. This speaks of a well-run company where the founders have skin in the game.
I’ll see how this vest performs for the rest of the summer and may upgrade my wife to the Ultimo for next year’s marathon season.

Customer service is just so simple -- had you not contacted me about your wife's CoolPak, I wouldn't have been able to offer a remedy. #commonsense. If your wife thinks the Maximo2 is great, she'd be thrilled with the Ultimo. Make sure you contact me directly when she's ready. I have some tricks up my sleeve... In the meantime, we're betting on a healthy and successful marathon season!
